My device will not turn on. What should I do?
Check the battery and power switch. Connect a compatible USB-C power source and allow the battery to charge, then move the switch to ON. If the switch is already ON and the screen is asleep, briefly press and release OK. Contact support@guoxd.net if the device still does not start.
My device is frozen. What should I do?
Do not interrupt an update or data write. Once no transfer or update is active, select Settings → System Reboot if the controls respond. Otherwise, check the battery and power switch. Disconnect USB-C and other external cables, move the switch to OFF, wait a few seconds, then switch it to ON. Unsaved changes may be lost.
How do I use Guoxd V1?
Start with the User Manual. If the manual and these answers do not resolve your issue, contact support@guoxd.net.
Where can I find encryption keys and bin files?
The device’s Database → Settings... → Keys screen shows whether the required amiibo keys are loaded. Use compatible files you are authorized to use. Contact support@guoxd.net for guidance on compatible files.
Why is my screen dim?
Check Settings → Backlight and Settings → Contrast. If the battery is low, charge the device.
How do I go back?
Press UP and DOWN together briefly, then release to go back or cancel a dialog. Hold both for at least three seconds to return to the main menu. Release both fully before another operation. During NFC activity or a transfer, finish the operation and move away from the reader before trying again. Where available, use the menu’s Back or Main Menu item.
What should I do if my Switch does not recognize Guoxd V1?
- Select Settings → System Reboot.
- Check that amiibo is unlocked and enabled in the game.
- Check the controller’s charge and connection.
- Place the rear signal area near the right Joy-Con control stick or the Pro Controller’s center NFC touchpoint.
- Remove any stick cover or case that blocks scanning, then adjust the distance and position.
- Try another official NFC-capable controller.
- Check the selected tag. Do not change its UID if the game expects a previously registered amiibo.
If the problem continues, contact support@guoxd.net.
Is there a special setting for Splatoon or Super Smash Bros.?
Turn Auto Rand. off when the game requires a stable tag UID. Keep the same saved tag for registration and subsequent scans. Compatibility and available features depend on the game and selected amiibo.
Can I scan more than once per day in Tears of the Kingdom or Breath of the Wild?
See Special instructions for BotW and TotK in the User Manual. UID randomization may allow another scan, subject to game behavior; it is not a universal daily-limit bypass.
Why does the game say “This is not the amiibo you scanned before”?
Turn Auto Rand. off and use the original saved tag with its original UID. Disabling randomization does not restore a UID that has already changed.
Why does the game say “This amiibo can’t be used again today”?
The game may have reached its daily limit for that tag. In BotW and TotK, Rand. Tag may allow a subsequent scan. See the manual for Auto Rand. behavior and limitations. Other games may track limits in their save data. If the issue persists, contact support@guoxd.net.
How do I charge Guoxd V1?
Guoxd V1 is rechargeable through its USB-C port. If the battery is depleted, charge the device before trying again.
