Test on your sample.
Hardware results remain pending until you perform and record each test. The owner's earlier successful wired installation and Bluetooth transfer are separate evidence.
Start with files
- Back up the device. Enter Bluetooth transfer, connect, and check the returned version and E: free space.
- Create a dedicated WEBTEST folder. Upload a new non-sensitive file. Wait for the device read-back SHA-256 match, then download it and compare its hash on your computer.
- Test 0, 242, 243, 244, 486 and 487-byte files. Only after these pass, test 64 KiB and 256 KiB if space allows.
- Test folders, renaming, remarks and hidden/read-only metadata. Check that existing metadata is retained. Test large directories separately.
- Export the session log and record operating system, browser version, sample, file sizes and hashes. Review private filenames and the Bluetooth address before sharing.
MTU remains unknown. A complete 247-byte notification supports only the current session's large-notification capability. Small-transfer success is insufficient.
If an operation stops
Preserve the log. Do not automatically retry a write, rename, delete or format. Re-enter Bluetooth transfer on the device, reconnect, and inspect the actual files. The new session sends CLOSE(0) before new file operations. A partial or truncated file may remain; cancellation does not restore the old file.
If the device is unresponsive and no normal write or update is active, disconnect all external cables, switch OFF, wait a few seconds, switch ON and retry the connection. This does not guarantee storage repair. Use your existing SWD recovery instructions if necessary.
Firmware test
- Use only your confirmed LCD sample already fully flashed with Guoxd_r1. Back up external files, metadata, settings and important tag state.
- Have the original wired recovery package, correct verified wiring and working SWD equipment ready. Charge the device and keep power stable.
- Select the exact signed candidate from the engineering handoff. Confirm all three test-scope statements. Connect in normal mode and click Enter DFU.
- After the entry ACK and disconnect, click Select DFU device. Choose your own Guoxd dfu sample. Do not interrupt the object transfer.
- Preserve the log. Re-enter normal Bluetooth transfer, reconnect and check the version, device controls, files, hashes, favorites and settings. The version stays 2.16.1-c1; the same version or 100% progress alone cannot prove installation.
If interrupted, do not assume rollback. Resume is allowed only with matching candidate prefix CRC and offset. An ambiguous object boundary is rejected; follow the engineering recovery plan. No production approval is implied.
Formatting is skipped by default
Format only a dedicated, fully backed-up sample that may lose all external data, with a separate explicit confirmation. Formatting clears the entire E: filesystem, potentially including settings and favorites. A test folder cannot isolate its effect.
